The Challenge

When Qualcomm launched their next-generation processor for AI-powered PCs, they needed more than a product showcase—they needed to inspire audiences with their vision for the future of computing.

We partnered with Qualcomm to create The Art of Possible, the debut film for their CEO keynote at Computex 2024 in Taipei. This video explores how AI-powered PCs can transform everyday life—streamlining processes, enhancing productivity, and solving challenges we all face today.

The film focuses on a main character trying to balance work, stay present, and manage the chaos of notifications and fragmented technology. To visualize these struggles, we created a library of original UI designs, from weather apps to payment reminders, that look futuristic yet entirely plausible, grounding the scenarios in recognizable interactions. .

In addition to the flagship video, we developed a series of shorter films highlighting specific use cases for these AI-powered PCs. Each showcased detailed UI concepts and demonstrated how the processor can streamline and elevate daily life. With only a short window to write, cast, design, and produce these, the use cases demanded an incredible level of focus and efficiency to bring them to life without compromising quality. .

The result is a vivid depiction of Qualcomm’s vision for AI-powered computing, bridging the gap between innovation and real-world application. The Art of Possible inspires audiences to imagine a future that feels both exciting and within reach

My Role

Acting as the central hub for the entire project cycle, I fostered collaboration between the creative team, production house, SFX/VFX studios, and client, while balancing creative vision, budget, and timeline constraints.

Working with an aggressive two month timeline, I developed a detailed project plan and production schedule and oversaw production end-to-end to achieve the client's vision. During our three day live-action production shoot, I worked closely with the Director and production crews, acting as a line producer to manage on-set execution, ensuring the footage meets quality standards for post-production and VFX integration.

Throughout a vigorous post-production process, I oversaw the delivery of every asset collaborating with creative vendors including editors, sound designers, and VFX teams; providing meticulous management of 3D asset pipeline, SFX/VFX, to finalize the commercial, incorporating client feedback and ensuring timely delivery. Despite curve balls at every turn, what we achieved in an extremely short time frame proved to be one of the most rewarding productions I’ve had the pleasure to work on.

Crafting a Cohesive UI Library

Designing hundreds of unique UI elements for The Art of Possible required a thoughtful and efficient approach. Each element needed to feel polished and professional while remaining platform-agnostic, avoiding any resemblance to existing operating systems. From weather apps to payment reminders, we created designs that looked innovative yet universal, aligning perfectly with Qualcomm’s vision for AI-powered computing.

Working collaboratively with the client, we refined designs through multiple iterations to ensure they were both cohesive and versatile. Every element was carefully crafted to fit within a unified system, striking a balance between variety and consistency. The result is a library of UI elements that feel fresh, flexible, and ready to represent the possibilities of a more connected future.

Each video required its own custom UI designs, tailored to specific scenarios within tight creative parameters. We collaborated closely with the client through multiple iterations to ensure the visuals aligned seamlessly with both the storytelling and the overarching system. Despite the compressed timeline, these use cases became powerful extensions of the hero video, demonstrating how Qualcomm’s vision could take shape in real-world applications.
